Andy Warhol created his famous Campbell’s Soup Can series because he had it regularly in his life. GQ is a magazine I read regularly for style advice which is a passion of mine. The magazine displays their logo differently month to month so I realized this would make an interesting series. Part of my identity as an Artist is presentation of my work and myself. My self image and my paintings should play off each other. I wear suits regularly to work, meetings, gallery shows and exhibitions. Creating a Pop Art series based on GQ was a no-brainer. Art created in Sketchbook Pro for iPad.
