Welcome to my blog! In this post I will be discussing my Artist Showcase.

One of my main jobs is as a teaching artist for Arts for Learning non-profit. Recently the program had a showcase for their artists for families and program organizers to see. I approached this like an informal version of my iPad Painting Demo at the Apple Store. My easel, iPad and Pencil stylus helped people instantly recognize that I was painting. We also had iPads on hand for kids and parents to try their hand at painting. For ease of use I’ve been teaching with Brushes Redux. It has a simple UI and kids love the playback videos. During the showcase I created paintings in Sketchbook, ArtRage, Brushes, Procreate and Paper 53. Check out my page on Arts for Learning for workshop information in the CT area.
