Welcome to my blog! In this post I will be discussing my latest painting.

Pretty much every cheat day I run out on my break and grab some Oreos. The originals are great but the Golden Oreos are my favorite. My Pop Art paintings all come from my daily experiences. That’s why they connect with people. Nostalgia is a very powerful thing. I decided to render the “Birthday Cake” Golden Oreo variant because of the colorful packaging. The background is a custom “color palette” table I received as a gift a few years ago. I used a thicker oil brush because it gave the painting a three dimensional look. After the first painting I copied it and colorized it to stay within the Pop Art theme. Painted in ArtRage for iPad with a Pencil stylus.
