Thankfully I chose a Eurostar train later in the day so I could have a farewell lunch with some of my London friends. We went to a burger joint called Byron Burger and it was pretty great. I love trying new foods but at the end of the day if I’m going to eat out it’s generally a burger and fries for me. With Procreate I tried some new tricks to capture the sheen of the burger bun to make it look fresh. These illustrations are pop art so they have to be colorful. It was my intention to have the fries take up the entire frame so it felt like you could just dive in and gorge on them. Next up are the meals I enjoyed in Paris.
