iPad Pro (Day 19)

This past weekend was a lot of fun. I spent the day in New York City and got some iPad Painting in before my shift at The Tie Bar Pop Up shop. First I went to The Studio Museum in Harlem to do some studies in Procreate and ArtRage before creating some paintings at Tie Bar after work. I kept these pieces very loose and painterly to capture as much as I could. I learned how to paint and draw quickly from my studio classes at School of Visual Arts.

There were some issues with the Bluetooth but a hard reset seems to have solved that issue with The Apple Pencil. Painting live in a Museum was one of the main things I wanted to do after getting my hands on the Pro 9.7 inch and I’m impressed. It’s light and easy to work with standing and working from observation. I go back to Manhattan tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to create some more observations.
