Book Signing at Yale Event Recap

Last Thursday I held my first book signing for my new artbook, From The Elm to The Empire. I was hosted by The Afro American Cultural Center at Yale. It was one part book talk and one part signing. Friends and family came together to support my latest project and it was incredible. I’m humbled and thankful this event went so well and I look forward to having more. I would like to thank Risë Nelson, Diego Leon, my amazing Mom (Jonnie Garcia), Marcia Goldberg, Dr. Ann Robinson, RJ Robinson, and Rainmaker for their help and contributions. All photos from the event were shot by Rainmaker of SIQuantumPhotography. From The Elm to The Empire is available to purchase on Lulu.
