One of the things I was looking forward to most about Cuba were the classic cars. I was not disappointed whatsoever. It felt like I was on a movie set with so many cars from the 50s and 60s whizzing by me. For the most part they were unofficial taxi cabs. I was surprised because they were kept up better than the dilapated buildings nearby. They came in all colors under the rainbow. There were some spots in Old Havana where they would just line the cars up to attract customers. I’m an old soul at heart so the vintage cars were eye candy to me. I painted a close up of a candy apple red Chevy in Old Havana. Art created using Procreate on iPad.
