I was commissioned by my friend and author, Jake Goldberg to illustrate the cover for his novel, “Hey, Brother” The story is loosely based on him and his brother Jake. The older brothers featured at the top of the image are wrestlers while the younger brothers are the viewers watching this journey unfold on television. I approached the project like a movie poster in terms of theme, look and feel. I started with a sketch, an ink drawing and then added color and textures.
