My Mom has a very decorative kitchen full of color and Mexican flair. I’d been mulling over turning some of the designs in her curtains and tablecloths into a Pop Art painting but it had to be right. One thing I associate with Latin culture is music and dance. My Mom has curtains that feature a dancer in a vibrant, flowing dress. That was the first element of the painting. The second was the design of the tablecloth. ArtRage seemed like a good fit because I was already thinking of turning this into a canvas print. The sketch and painting were done with a Nomad Flex.
