Recently I stopped by Manhattan before a trip to Long Island to see some old friends. Whenever I go into the city I make sure I create a painting from life. Since I already painted Grand Central Terminal for my last book it was time for Penn Station. With this painting I wanted to go for a painterly and abstract look. I didn’t want to get bogged down by all the details. The idea was to capture the moment. Art created in the new Sketchbook Pro for iPad.
