After exploring Hampton Court Palace for the better part of the day I went to a nearby pub for a late lunch. I ordered a Pasta with eggplant, lime and beef to fill up after walking through all of those royal chambers. 

This painting was very deceptive because I believed it would be finished quickly. To my surprise it took me a few hours because of all the various colors I wanted to capture in the lettuce and the meat sauce. 

I can appreciate all the layers I used to finish off this delicious plate of pasta. Painted using Procreate on iPad Pro.
