#WhereIsRa?: DUMBO’s Brooklyn Bridge Park

Welcome to my blog! In this post I will be talking about my latest painting trip to DUMBO, Brooklyn.

Yesterday I went back to New York to continue painting in Brooklyn Bridge Park. I met a cool illustrator and photographer (Jeff Chery) that also uses an iPad for art. We both went on a “plein air” painting excursion and even met up with my mentor, the supremely talented Jorge Colombo. I had no idea we were practically in his backyard! I’m still very new to Brooklyn (because I usually go straight to Manhattan when I commute) so I have a great appreciation for capturing what DUMBO has to offer on my iPad. To me one of the best things about being an artist is practicing my craft outdoors, interacting with people and hanging out with friends that speak my language. Check out all of the paintings I completed below. P.S. If anyone would like to purchase any of the iPad paintings as 5x7 or 8x10 prints please email me.
